L’Ensemble vocal Claire Garrone est né en 1980 à Montpellier du désir de former un groupe souple et motivé pour pratiquer en amateurs le chant choral.

Il explore, sous la direction exigeante et sensible de Claire Garrone, les grands moments de l’écriture chorale : musique sacrée, musique romantique allemande, madrigaux italiens et musique française de la Renaissance au XX^e siècle.

Claire Garrone et son Ensemble Vocal vous convient cette fois à une véritable « Ode ». Célébrant les XXe et XXIe siècles avec des œuvres de Francis Poulenc et d’Isabelle Aboulker, ils invitent des compositeurs actuels montpelliérains à se joindre à cette ode : mélodies de Ginette Lesburguères et la création d’une œuvre d’Isabelle Chauvalon – Gaïa, fresque lyrique et superbe hommage à la terre pour chœur, mezzo, récitant et piano, sur des alexandrins de Vincent Baillat.

Ce programme sera donné lors de deux concerts :
