Le jeudi 28 novembre dernier, dans le cadre d’une exposition «Beate et Serge Klarsfeld, les combats de la Mémoire 1968-1978» à l’Hôtel de Ville de Montpellier, Radio Aviva s’est entretenu avec Serge et Beate Klarsfeld, mais aussi avec Jacques Fredj, directeur du Mémorial de la Shoah, qui organisait cette exposition. 

Lui est le fils d’un juif roumain déporté en 1944. Elle, la fille d’un soldat allemand de la Wermacht. Tous deux sont à l’origine d’un travail colossal de mémoire des juif.ve.s déporté.e.s. Serge et Beate Klarsfeld sont à l’honneur dans une exposition qui retrace leur parcours. Témoignages, images d’archives, et objets symboliques sont à retrouver dans le Hall de l’Hôtel de Ville de Montpellier, jusqu’au 3 janvier 2020.
