Le préfet de l’Hérault s’exprime après le passage de la ville dans la catégorie ALERTE MAXIMAL !

Les indices du covid-19 ne cessent de grimper : un virus « virulent » qui se transmet « rapidement » annonce le Préfet J.Witkowski, entouré de notre Maire M.Delafosse, du directeur de l’Agence Régionale de Santé P.Ricordeau et des professeurs du CHU  S.Jaber et J. Reynes.

Restriction et encouragement, on vous décortique cette annonce. 

Tout d’abord, le bilan, qu’on constate avec l’ARS  : les chiffres parlent d’eux même, un constat : le virus gagne du terrain. Les cas moyens augmentent en peu de temps mais c’est aussi plus de 8000 cas supplémentaires uniquement pour la région Occitanie depuis le début du mois d’Octobre, soit en 10 jours.

Ainsi, le préfet déclare :

« Le virus est extrêmement virulent et se transmet rapidement, a souligné le préfet en commentant les derniers chiffres, tous à la hausse. Nous ne pourrons relever ce défi que si l’addition des gestes barrières est faite sérieusement. Nous avons réussi à le faire à la mi-mars et il n’y a aucune raison qu’on ne puisse le refaire aujourd’hui. Si les restrictions qui sont prises portent leurs fruits, nous pourrons retrouver une vie normale dans quelques semaines ».

Concernant les restrictions :

La première annonce pour toute la Métropole et certaine de la périphérie est a 15 jours :

• Rassemblement de plus de 10 personnes dans l’espace public sont désormais interdit
• Les bars, salles de jeu, casino, foire et festival ne peuvent plus recevoir de public
• En restauration, le service se fait à table, 6 personnes par table maximum à une distance d’1 mètre
